ASIS-IT Takes First Place at MSU Supply Chain Hackathon
February 2025
ASIS-IT is proud to announce its first-place win at the MSU Supply Chain Hackathon, hosted by the Broad College of Business and proudly sponsored by Beyond Query. The two-day event brought together top university talent, industry professionals, and logistics leaders to tackle real-world challenges in modern supply chain systems.
Competing against over 20 teams from across Michigan State, ASIS-IT stood out for its machine learning powered logistics visibility solution, designed to optimize fulfillment across fragmented freight networks. The prototype—built and validated within 36 hours—demonstrated real-time carrier selection logic, anomaly detection, and automated customer updates, earning top marks for innovation, feasibility, and long-term business impact.
“This hackathon wasn’t just about ideas—it was about execution under real conditions,” said a Beyond Query judge and venture advisor. “ASIS-IT brought a working model with immediate operational value.”
Beyond Query, the title sponsor of the event, continues to champion innovation in supply chain infrastructure, and this year’s hackathon aligned directly with its mission: to bridge academic thinking with commercial execution in logistics tech.
ASIS-IT’s victory not only highlights its product capabilities—it also underscores the team’s growing reputation as a leader in next-gen logistics intelligence. The company will continue to explore commercial pilots and investment partnerships as it builds toward broader deployment in 2025.
